Wow, it's been crazy the last few weeks. I quit my comfy no pay office job and went back to Walgreens! It's been 3 days and my feet are so sore and swollen from standing and actually doing stuff instead of sitting in front of a desk. When I left there was so much stress and I felt I could no longer do retail so it was nice to take a break. But I am back which means discounts on new make up and polish! So far I've been to 5 of my surrounding stores and there is still no sign of the Wet n Wild On the Prowl collection. Grr! Anywho one night I asked my boyfran what color I should paint my nails. He said dusty blue and I knew the perfect choice, Zoya Crystal! Crystal is a metallic dusty, almost baby, blue with gold flecks. I believe it is one of a kind, an absolute must have from Zoya.
Zoya usually has sales and special discount codes on their website and facebook. Zoya retails for $8 a pop and have recently been seen at Ulta. I know my Ulta is now carrying the new Summer and Fall collections so keep your eyes peeled!

Not me, the three!
Due to the awfulness that is Florida weather I've been lazy with my makeup but not with my spending! Here are my first three looks using my Inglot palette numero dos. Nothing special but oh do I love my Pearl 414(the dark green)!
This is Pearl 441, Matte 358, Pearl 446, with my 77 gel liner on my water line/tight line and lid. I was a little sloppy with my lid liner as I am not use to my bent liner brush. No full face as I was greasy! I hate FL humidity!
Second look is Matte 345, Matte 339, Matte 358, AMC 46, and 77 gel liner on my water line/tight line. I specifically bought Matte 345 and Matte 339 for looks together. Le sigh, when it's cooler I will be back to full face shots but for now it will be sparingly.
And for last my favorite look! This is Pearl 414, AMC 46, 77 gel liner for water line/tight line, and MAC Jealousy Wakes! I believe I took these pictures before I made my way out the door hence the lack of yuck on my skin, lol. All shadows were great to work with and highly pigmented except for Pearl 414 which requires build up. Which look is your favorite? Any requests for my next look using Inglot?

Inglot 2
So I finally caved back in July and purchased my second Inglot palette along with my first gel liner in black(77). The first thing I noticed when ordering, as the last time I did was when the site just opened, was that the palettes are no longer discounted. I prefer the sleek look of their palettes but I've also noticed other bloggers purchasing Z Palettes as well. You could definitely fit more in a Z Palette! My total for a 10 pan palette, 10 shadows, and 1 gel liner was $86.67.
I based my palette from swatch pictures I saw on Temptalia that I really liked. I'm happy with all the colors but I did notice that Matte 358 and Matte 339 look pretty similar. You'll also notice I got a little matte happy! I don't own many mattes other than the occasional brown or black that comes with a random palette. Swatches are over Too Faced Shadow Insurance, swatched in the same order as the palette.
The mattes definitely hold more pigment than the pearls. Pearl 414 was the hardest to build up and is also my favorite color in the palette. I think Pearl 428 might be a dupe for Mac's Deep Truth. I'll make sure to swatch and compare soon. My only other experience with gel liners was Mac's Fluidline in Blacktrack and Macroviolet. After hearing many good reviews on Inglots gel liners I figured I could at least try the black. I don't think they're necessarily waterproof but they do have pretty good staying power. After I ordered I realized I didn't own an eyeliner brush so I found a cute little bent liner brush by ELF at Target for $3.
The second to last picture is under warm running water and the last is after a vigorous scrub. Not bad, eh? I've been wearing the liner almost everyday pushing my Urban Decay 24/7 liner in Zero to the back. I layer a matte black shadow on top of the liner on my water line and tight line and it looks great and dark. It does melt into the corner of my eyes by the end of the day, but I do have sensitive eyes that water a lot. Even after washing my face and what not I still have liner on. Overall I'm in love with my purchase. I think the price is worth the quality, hell I remember paying $40 for a 4 shadow palette at Mac with only 1 shadow having good pigmentation. You know you're guilty of it too! For more on Inglot check out my first Inglot purchase!

Merry Midnight
Yes, I have been blessed with my very own bottle of OPI Merry Midnight thanks to Traci at the Trace Face Philes. MM was a huge lemming of mine, and many others. I never thought it could be mine. Now everyone's posting their swatches of Orly Fowl Play, an MM dupe, and I must say they look exactly alike! But my polish obsession disorder means I still want it, lol! MM is a dark purple with blue glitter and red flakies.
My bottle was a little on the thick side so I'm going to invest in some polish thinner. Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. I had a great relaxing day drinking in the pool. We even threw Zombri in the pool for some action. Le boyfraan bought me a gift certificate to my favorite nail salon for epic pedicures and I bought myself the new Urban Decay 15th anniversary palette! I'm so excited!!

This is what snow should look like!
I've been really getting into making my own nail polish jewelry. It's such a great concept, polish on you nails with matching rings! Genius! A few weeks ago I ordered ring supplies from a wholesale company by the name of Panda Hall based in China. So far my experience has been horrible. It literally took them weeks to tell me the items I ordered were out of stock. However they gave me an extra 3% off on the items I chose to replace them with. I am still waiting for my refund to my Paypal account. My supplies were shipped last Saturday so I'll keep you posted if this experience has been worth it at all. Anywho, this is a case of a mani being done first on one of my rings then on my nails! Base is Sinful Colors Snow Me White, OPI What's Dune, and Klean Colors Aurora. Having lived in Puerto Rico and now Florida I have had very VERY little experience with snow but I truly believe it should look like this!
P.S.-Tommorrow is my birthdaaay!

Ole Blue Eyes
I'm still new to contacts. I mean it took years for me to actually get prescription glasses! Le boyfran suggested I try blue contacts, because the combination with black hair sounded FINE, lol. Now these are prescription contacts purchased at my local Valuvision and let me just say they suuuuuuuuck! Oh lawd! I haven't been posting lately because every picture makes me look like Rodney Dangerfield! These are the only pictures I have that look good but you will probably notice what I am talking about...
You see, no matter what my brown eyes peek through!
So no matter what angle, even straight on, the contacts would slightly be shifted so that they were never even. Such a waste of money, especially because I need contacts! They were also incredibly drying, bleh. Never again. Both looks were done using my first Inglot palette and the Urban Decay Naked palette. This week is already a bust which is more lame than usual as this Friday is my birthday! I will literally be going around Jacksonville getting anything free for birthdays lol. Haha, I'm getting old and bored! Also, I put in my 2 week notice at my new job today as I will be getting my old job back at Walgreens. I'm excited and sad about it but working for commission was keeping me in a consistent rut and was not worth it anymore. Lets hear it for new old beginnings!lol

Jealousy Wakes
When MAC Jealousy Wakes was first brought to my attention I knew I needed it. However I stopped buying MAC because I think they are just too expensive and lately I've been finding better quality make up for less. I've been following Temptalia, the blogger who created J.W., since the old days on LiveJournal when I was in highschool so I knew she would do us good by making her own eyeshadow. So when Jealousy Wakes came back in stock I immediately put that baby in my cart and it was mine!
Swatches L-R: No base, Too Faced Shadow Insurance, NYX Jumbo Pencil in Milk, Urban Decay liner in Electric.
Blue Eyes.
Brown Eyes.
Oh I love this color! It's smooth and super pigmented. The color flashes shades of blue, green, and teal. When applying a matte black shadow to line my eyes Jealousy Wakes changed the black to blue. Gorgeous! I am so happy MAC restocked it because this was sold out quickly. MAC still has Jealousy Wakes in stock for $15 right now. I believe the code TXT is still available to use for free shipping!
