How Much is that Doggie on the Accent Nail?

Hey, hey Bloggerettes! It has been a very long, hot minute since my last post and I apologize. However, I'm currently watching Animal Planet's Puppy Bowl IX and felt like it was time to post my Zombri nails! Zombri of course is my baby girl Boston Terrier. My nail art abilities are seriously sub par but I just had to do these!

Grey-t to be Here and Shine of the Times.
Grey-t to be Here, Shine of the Times, and Make a Spectacle.

I began with CND Stickey, 2 coats of Essence Grey-t to be Here, 1 coat of Essie Shine of the Times, 1 coat of China Glaze Make a Spectacle, followed by a thick coat of Seche Vite. Once dry I began my Zombri outline with a white base, OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls. Then I took a short striper brush and an opaque black, Revlon Stiletto, and outlined her face, her nose, and whiskers. Then brown for her eyes and some pink for her ears and 1 more coat of Seche Vite to seal her in! It's funny, my demo nail came out more like Zombri while on my acutal nail looks more like Bronson.

See! But if you don't remember what Bronson looks like let me remind you...
Here he is after having couch for dessert!

What do you think of my totally derp representation of my pup? Thanks for looking!

Anachronism, A Franken

Anachronism is made from various glitter polishes I had laying around, much like my previous franken, Bile. However, rather than a clear base she has a jelly grey base. One of the many wonderful women I have met via Facebook polish groups did a very beautiful version of this that inspired me to get my franken juices flowing. This is 2 coats of Anachronism over SOPI Sparkling Personality.

She's a bit sheer so that extra sparkle shining through is from Sparkling Personality. No nail has the same mixture of glitter making each one it's own special little snowflake! There is no wrong way to make this franken so I urge you to try this out yourselves! Now I'd like to end this post with some lols to cheer us all up. <3

Tokidoki Vegas

I picked up Tokidoki Arte Palette in Vegas back in December when Sephora had their free $15 gift card special. Though I have always been a fan of the Tokidoki art work this was my first purchase for any of their product. The Vegas palette features 4 eyeshadows(Pearl White, Pearl Grey, Iridescent Purple, Pearl Dark Purple) and 1 blush(a soft mauve pink with gold sparkle) in a compact case with a mirror. The packaging reminded me of the Stila Travel Girl Palettes but instead of the packaging opening sideways it flips up.

Pearl Dark Purple, Iridescent Purple, Pearl Grey, Pearl White

Blush.
When swatching the palette with no base/primer they were very pigmented. I used this palette once with primer and I was shocked by how awful the color payoff was. The shadows were very sheer however the blush was quite pretty. Lucky for me I received mine for free because of the special but I would regret this purchase if I had paid for it. Perhaps it would make a cute gift for the younger crowd. The Vegas Palette retails for $10 at Sephora.
