Rule number 3, wear your heart on your cheek. But never on your sleeve, unless you wanna taste defeat.

Uber long blog post title is long! Hello Bloggerettes! I've been throughly enjoying some Marina and the Diamonds, especially How to be a Heartbreaker. Fun mani plus equally fun song equals a FUN post! I obviously need some sleep, lol. Today's post features my favorite indie polish brand, Hare. Asteroid Turf is a murky almost neon green jelly filled with medium magenta hex glitter.

Asteroid Turf was an easy as pie glitter filled jelly to apply. Hey, that rhymed! Can you see all the hidden hexes? Beautiful! Hare polish is available on Etsy for $10 and at Llarowe for $11. I believe Asteroid Turf may have been discontinued, but they just came out with some new beautiful polishes. What do you think of this polish?

Thanks for looking!

Did You 'Ear About Tacos in the Bubble Room?

Hello Bloggerttes! Today I have a really fun combo featuring Sonoma Nail Art and Pahlish. Bubble Room by Sonoma is a gorgeous gold shimmer with micro gold and holo glitter. I started off with 2 coats of OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? a great beige neutral followed by 2 coats of Bubble Room. This is the same look featured on Sonoma's listing that Sarah over at Chalkboard Nails did!

2 coats of Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? alone.
Completed look with a coat of Seche Vite.

Isn't is gorgeous? Bubble Room keeps the look from looking simply neutral but not too in your face. Then the next day I received my Pahlish package which included the amazing Fire in the Taco Bell. Which automatically reminds me of Electric Six.

I immediately added 2 coats. Fire in the Taco Bell has an orange jelly base with magenta and orange, hexagon, square glitter. But my absolute favorite part is the translucent purple hexagon glitter! It gives this polish an extra oomph that I was not expecting. While Bubble Room was smooth and applied like buttah FinTB had to be moved around and placed to avoid any clumps. Sonoma polishes retail for $10 and Pahlish is $9. What do you think of this mani or are you too focused on Danger, High Voltage!?haha

"Some of the sweetest candies are sour as death inside."

Happy 4th of July Bloggerettes! Today I have the amazing Pretty and Polished reformulated Jawbreaker. Jawbreaker has a white creme base full of yellow, red, blue, green, and purple glitters in various sizes and shapes! It's the closest thing to patriotic my nails could get, lol. This polish is based off the candy of the same name and jawbreaking induced awesomeness. However when I hear Jawbreaker I automatically think...

"I killed Liz. I killed the teen dream. Deal with it."

This is 2 coats of Jawbreaker, 1 coat Gelous, topped off with 1 coat of Seche Vite. My finish was incredibly glossy and smooth. I do recommend 3 coats of Jawbreaker to avoid a bit of visible nail line. Pretty and Polished Jawbreaker are currently sold on Etsy but she will be joining Llarowe soon! Hope you all have a fun but safe holiday!

Monochrome Monday

Good morning Bloggettes! Today I have another group mani. This time it's Monochrome Monday, or black and white for us more simple folk, lol. It took me forever to come up with something and I am happy with my results. I did different looks on each hand this round but both start with the same base of OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls (told ya' it's my favorite!), followed by 2 coats of Sally Hansen Glass Slipper(white glitter flecks/shimmer).

Once dry I applied several pieces of strip tape to each nail. Next I used LA Colors Art Deco in Black as I am out of regular black polish.

Tape has just been freshly pulled, no top coat yet.

Finishing the look is Lynnderella Connect the Dots followed by a generous coat of Seche Vite.

For my right hand I used 2 coats of Pahlish Typewriter Keys (shredded white/black glitter with silver/holo shimmer) and 1 coat of Lynnderella Connect the Dots.

I love, love, love the way this came out, reminds me of one of my favorite movies Beetle Juice and my Boston babies Zombri and Bronson. The only thing I would change is a coat of Gelous before Seche Vite as it is a bit gritty.

I hope you enjoyed my mani, now lets see what the other ladies came up with!

My Boyfriend Scales Hippity Hops

Hey Bloggerettes! Long time no postie. Life has been a bit hectic with both Bostons getting sick while my dad was in the hospital. It's been an exhausting, stressful week but I am back.

Todays mani is OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls with Girly Bits Hippity Hop. Lmao, I never in a million years thought that I would find a Spiderman Hippity Hop to go along with this mani. My Boyfriend Scales Walls in a greyed white creme and Hippity Hop is a mix of purple, pink, green, holo pastel glitters with pink purple shimmer. I was able to purchase Hippity Hop over at Harlow & Co. shortly after my Girly Bits order for $12.

 2 coats MBSW.
1 coat Hippity Hop over MBSW.

I applied a generous coat of Gelous followed by Seche Vite to even out my finish. Hippity Hop was a huge lemming for me and it didn't dissappoint. I tried to capture the shimmer and effects but it does not photograph easily. You definitely have to play around with placement as it is thick. My Boyfriend Scales Walls has easily become my favorite white even though the formula is a bit thin.

If you don't follow me on Instagram(feedkmayeorchids) you missed out on some pictures of Zombri's xrays, Father's Day, hauls, and other goodies. Here's a sneak peek of some of my favorites.

Into the Night

Hey Bloggerettes! Todays post features the amazing Girly Bits Into the Night. Into the Night is a black based polish with micro lime green, magenta, and holo glitter. I have been really wanting Girly Bits polishes but I always missed sales or didn't have funds at the time. But blessed be she opened up a new shop on Big Cartel and I was able to order 1 mini bottle. When I opened my package I was surprised to see a full size bottle with a note from Pam saying it was a shame to pay so much for shipping for just a mini polish. How sweet is that?!

Gorgeous, isn't she? This is 1 coat of Gelous, 3 coats of Into the Night, and a 1 thick coat of Seche Vite. This polish is a bit hungry so I suggest using another coat of Gelous on top of it for a smooth finish. Into the Night retails for $10 in full size and $6 for mini size on Girly Bits website.

Cyance Friction

Hello hello Bloggerettes! It's Friday the 13th but my whole week has been a bundle of stress and bad luck, lol. So to relax I am happy to present Nerd Lacquer Cyance Friction. She's a beautiful neon teal with pink glass flecks, small, and large copper hexagon glitter. The application was smooth and the glitter was easy to work with. No Gelous needed, just a thick coat of Seche Vite!

To change it up I thought I'd try a close up, damn flash ruined it though. I'm really kicking myself for not ordering more Nerd Lacquers when she last opened her shop. She's currently closed but you can get notified via email when she's back. Nerd Lacquers are currently $10 for 15ml of polish.
