Crackle.

"We gotta crack Gretchen Wieners. We crack Gretchen, and then we crack the lock on Regina's whole dirty history."
"Say crack again."
"Crack."

I've become lazy in my 'old' age.  But at least I have pretty nails!  Todays look is China Glaze He's Going in Circles, a holo with China Glaze Black Mesh, the new crackle polish.  Like I said in my previous post it's foggy in Jacksonville but my trusty little LED lamp light shows off the holo.  It's gorgeous!

 Blurry to show some holo.

I just purchased some new accessories for my Canon S5IS, they should be here in the next week.  My Canon Powershot SD1000 just isn't up to par these days. I also ordered some goodies from Cherry Culture, KarmaloopSugar Pill and Lush so expect some more reviews soon.

I made the most delicious breakfast the other day.  Right now I'm procrastinating making breakfast, lol.  While browsing the interwebz I came across this recipe for cake batter pancakes with matching glaze.  My boyfriend thought the were delicious but it was lacking something.  Last night I gave Zombri some Frosty Paws ice cream and naturally these photos show my nails better than the ones I took specifically for them.

Hey vanity, this vile's empty, so are you.

Today I bring you a review for Beauty From the Earth cosmetics.  I recently won my first giveaway from the lovely Reen and chose this darling little sample set.

Each sample was 0.5 grams.  I have yet to do a look with the samples but I did swatches on my arm with three different bases, Urban Decay Primer Potion, Rimmel Pure White eyeliner, and Too Faced Shadow Insurance.  The pigmentation was pretty good and the consistency is smooth.  Though I think the white base was rather ugly and I definitely will not be using that in the future!

Unfortunately it's foggy here in Jacksonville so I apologize for the lack luster pictures.

Full sized jars from Beauty From the Earth are $6.50 while sample jars are $2.00.  I'll definitely be purchasing more samples in the near future!

My friend Audrey sketched Zombri's face while we gathered around smoking our new hookah.  Isn't she adorable?!  Our hookah's pretty nice too!  It's perfect if you have dogs that like to run around and bump into things.

Thirty nights of violence and sugar to love...

So finally I'm using this blog for what it was intended for, NAILS!  I stayed up late last night watching some Family Guy season 8 and thought it was time to use several of my new polishes.  Now when I say several I mean 6, lol.  Please excuse my lack of cuticle clean up, I desperately need a better brush for that.
This look was:
  • Base coat Nail Tek Foundation III
  • 2 coats Zoya Lola- A beautiful neon pink with blue shimmer.
  • Tips 1 coat China Glaze White Cap under Nicole by OPI One Less Lonely Glitter
  • Ring finger is 2 coats China Glaze Medallion with China Glaze Black Mesh(their new crackle glaze!!!111!!!1!!!11!)
  • Tips on ring finger are Color Club Revvvolution
  • Middle nail fauxnaud with Hello Kitty with Konad special polish in white
  • Top coat Seche Vite
I recently found a code for Born Pretty's Hello Kitty fauxnaud plate which makes it free!  You can't beat that.  I was a bit skeptical but figured I'd give it a shot.  All you have to do is add the plate to your cart then check out.  For free shipping choose Airmail Unregistered then enter coupon code BP299.  Lastly select I have paid before/Free Items and you won't have to enter your credit info.  I did this about two weeks ago and it came in last Friday.  I'm honestly not sure when this deal expires but it's worth a try.

This is my first venture in blogging so please any constructive criticism is appreciated!  I'll end this with some pictures of my baby girl Zombri!  Doesn't she look wise?

Hectic.

Between work and the lame housing situation I barely have time for myself.  I just want to do my nails, lol.  I'm actually running out of storage space for my polishes.  Le sigh...
