Hello Kitty in Bubble Gum Land: A KKCenterhk Review

Hey hey Bloggerettes! I was lucky enough to be contacted by KKCenterhk and was asked to review several products, this is part 1! Today's post is a continuation of Holographic Bubble Gum with the addition of KKCenterhk Hello Kitty Nail Decals 3D-314. Sanrio and Hello Kitty have been a part of my life since I was a little girl so I had to pick these decals, not to mention the adorable poodles. Can you imagine if it were a little Boston Terrier!?

The set features 31 decals with opalescent glitter.
Design includes 2 Hello Kittys(pink & blue), butterflies, roses, bows with roses, and poodles.

These decals are so cute! They were easy to apply and had good grip on the nail. Once you lay them flat on the nail apply a thick base coat, I used Seche Vite, to seal them in. My only complaint is the butterflies and the butterfly and poodle decals ripped easily because of the 'swirls'. Hello Kitty Nail Decals 3D-314 retail for $3.50, a steal, at KKCenterhk.

Holographic Bubble Gum

'Ello Bloggerettes! Today's post features the most amazing pink holographic polish EVAR Jade Delirio Rosa. This Brazilian gem has the most spectacular holo mixed in with the brightest bubble gum pink. Unlike other holos this one is prominent inside or outside, artificial light or not.

The shade of pink does vary in certain lights as you can see from my pictures. I started with 1 coat of CND Stickey, 3 coats of Delirio Rosa though you could get away with 2, followed by 1 coat of Seche Vite. Delirio Rosa has topped my all time favorite polishes list already. I purchased mine via a group buy but you can now pick this up at Ninja Polish for $7.50!

Tutorial Tuesday: Grunge

G'day Bloggerettes! Today features another group mani featuring Tutorial Tuesday; when you pick your favorite tutorial and do it! I decided to try my hand at Jamie at Nails Adored Grunge Tutorial. However instead of grunge I got more funky peacock but it's still pretty sweet! This post is going to be very picture heavy!

I picked Essie Licorice, Sinful Unicorn, Orly Purple Crush, China Glaze Splish Splash, and China Glaze Turned Up Turquoise. You'll need a capful of acetone and a paintbrush for this mani.
I started with a coat of CND Stickey followed by 2 coats Licorice.
 Paint 1 side with Unicorn.
 Then Purple Crush.
Followed by Splish Splash, then Turned Up Turquoise.
Once your done take your paintbrush, dip in acetone, and start brushing your nails till desired effect.

I am so happy with my results! Jamie did a great tutorial and I hope I did her some justice! What do you think? Now let's look at what the other girls did!

Rainbow Fields

Bloggerettes, it's time for Holo Hump Day, another group mani. I used a new pair of earrings I bought on Etsy for inspiration. My base coat is 3 coats of Nic Stick's Rainbows End, a gold holo. Next I taped my triangles then applied a layer of Orly Fancy Fucshia, then 1 coat of China Glaze Strawberry Fields. Lastly for my triangle border LA Colors Blue Glitter. Rainbows End was incredibly difficult to work with because of the shoddy brush. You can see, especially on my pinkie, the dragging.

3 coats Rainbows End, no top coat.

After applying Fancy Fuchsia and Strawberry Fields.

The last picture is the completed mani with the earrings from Etsy. They aren't an exact match to the earrings but I am still happy with the end result. Don't forget to check out the other ladies Holo Hump Day manis!

Splattered Lizard

Remember my tape mani I did with a group of ladies? Well today we're all doing 'Splatterday', a series of splatter manis! I love doing a group project because you get to see so many looks with the same basic concept.

My completed splatter mani.

Here's a fun fact, I am absolutely terrified of lizards. All shapes, sizes, breeds...terrified. I have absolutely no idea why either, lol. So when the new OPI Spiderman collection came out and I saw Just Spotted the Lizard, the Chanel Peridot dupe, I was like crap. HAHA! It really is a beautiful color and has easily made its way into my top 5 favorite polishes to date but come on OPI....change the name for little ol' me, lol. I started my mani off with CND Stickey, 3 coats of polish with the terrifying name, and a coat of Seche Vite. I did a top coat because this was my first splatter mani ever and I knew I was bound to mess it up.

The last shot is my nails underwater to show off that sweet gold, blue, green duochome. Amazing, right!?! Almost makes up for that God awful name!
Polish with terrifying name, Pink Friday, Strawberry Fields, Flying Dragon. Tools for a pretty sweet splatter.

I am so so so in love with my splatter! After having a heck of a time trying to make a 'pretty splatter' I finally found the perfect system for me. I used a normal straw you get in a pack at the grocery store and bent up the end. Then I got a piece of cardboard and did a few drops of polish on there and brushed some on my straw. This was the only way I had any splatter come off my straw. Trust me I did a few other ways before I found my solution. Now I am so excited to show off the other girls looks! Here's our InLinks.

Alice in Neonland

Hey Bloggerettes! I've been taking a mini vacation and finally taking some time for little things like being outside and painting my nails. Tonight I have a fun look that's been stirring in my mind since this morning. I wanted an Alice in Wonderland meets Betsey Johnson kind of look and came up with Alice in Neonland. With the help of my handy dandy dotting tools I completed this look within an American Dad episode, lol.

In order of nail apperance: Barry M Pure Turquoise(base 2 coats), Dollish Polish We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat(1 coat), Konad White(large dotting tool for rose base), Zoya Luna(glitter for roses), Orly Purple Crush(small dotting tool for rose outline), and Zoya Apple(small dotting tool for leaves). Haha, note the teeth marks on my Konad polish. Anyone else have a hard time trying to open those suckers?

Barry M Pure Turquoise reminds me of Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Pool Party.
Dollish Polish We're Gonna Need a Bigger Boat. I wish you could see how fantastic this really is!
The finished look with a nice thick coat of Seche Vite.
I couldn't leave well enough alone and added a coat of Essie Matte About You. It still looks cool but I think I like this look better shiny.
I realized my mani matched my favorite cosmetic brand, Sugarpill's, new stickers! Random excitement for the win!

This mani was so much fun to do and come up with. My last post reminded me how much I love doing random nail art and such but I never have the time to play around. Hopefully I can keep up with this! What do you think of this look?

Easter in Space!

Happy Easter Bloggerettes! I picked up a couple Nerd Lacquers recently and thought All of Time and Space would be perfect for an Easter mani. All of Time and Space is a mint shimmer with ultra fine/fine/medium magenta hexagon glitter, and medium/large hexagon silver glitter. For an accent nail I chose Barry M Limited Edition Pink, a purple pink creme.

Both polishes applied like a dream! All of Time and Space is 3 coats, 1 coat Gelous, and 1 coat Seche Vite. Limited Edition Pink is 2 coats. I wanted more flair on my accent nails so I taped triangles and applied 2 coats of All of Time and Space and added a diamond holo piece of glitter.

I notice my new heart shaped rainbow topaz ring matched my mani and took a close up!lol

Nerd Lacquer is currently on hiatus but normally bottles are 15ml. for $10. Select the email to be notified button so you'll know when she's back in stock! The Boyfran and our Bostons will be spending the holiday with our families eating and relaxing. I hope you all have a nice holiday or just plain Sunday!
