Stained Glass Ming

Helloooo Bloggerettes! Today's nails are a mix of glitter gradient with an accent of stained glass. What, haha? My accent nails are meant to look like a stained glass window with roses. My pictures don't show a good representation of that but in person they were flawless!

I started off with 1 thick coat of Rejuvacote, 2 coats of Color Club Blue Ming, and 1 coat of OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? on my accent nail. Once dry I did 1 layer of Maybelline Sunlight followed by Color Club Gingerbread for my gradient. For my accent nails I used 1 coat of Cosmetic Arts Flakie polish, Orly Purple Crush for my roses, Blue Ming for my leaves, and Art Deco in black for my outlines. I love rocking roses on my manis, I think they are so fun and chic. What do you think?

For some shizz and giggles I decided to Frankenweenie-fy my boston babies, Zombri and Bronson!

Roxy Flash

Hello Bloggerettes! I am still unbelievably sick but I have a doctor's appointment tomorrow. Thank goodness! Ugh, so zero motivation is happening in these parts however tons of cartoons and spicy food are happening. Anywho today's post features an awesome gradient of Zoya Roxy(my favorite polish EVAR!), a raspberry jelly filled with magenta glitter, and L'oreal Amazon's Flash, a metallic gold. For the life of me I cannot do the sponge gradient method, so I do the 'paint down' method.

 Roxy, 2 coats.

The paint down method is when you start painting your gradient at your tips then bring the color down. I really like this effect better than sponging, etc. I began with 1 coat of CND Stickey, 2 coats Roxy, 1 thick coat of Gelous, gradient of Amazon's Flash, and 1 thick coat of Seche Vite. Gelous is essential as Roxy is a very hungry glitter. Trust me, she is worth the effort! Amazon's Flash was part of a limited edition L'oreal set from last year so you may not find it in stores. But she is a nice deep warm gold, almost mustard like. Which gradient method do you prefer?

Zuza-San

Good morning Bloggerettes! It's that time again for our group mani! This time the theme was Gradient Friday! I stopped by Ulta today and finally picked up Zoya Zuza which I have been lemming since the first swatches came out. I knew that I wanted to use Zuza right away so I sat here for a hot minute thinking of a good gradient combo to combine with her. Sinful Color Mama-San was practically aching for some usage so I chose her and Nyx Gilded Glitter.
2 coats of Mama-San, a rose colored foil.
Zuza over Mama-San. I used a folded up piece of paper towel for my gradient.
To finish this look off I added a coat of Gilded Glitter. The last addition really warmed up this look. I find this mani to appear almost romantic, if that makes sense. It's so pretty, I just can't stop staring!
Zombri and I want you to check out the other ladies gorgeous gradients!

Edited to add my sunny Florida day pictures. See how my gradient glows! And check out my Color Club Electro Candy pedi!
