But there's something about her long shady eyes...

I know this is long, looong over due as I promised this quite some time ago. To be honest I took several pictures and what not, then friggin' forgot which was which!lol. I'm reviewing my three current favorite mascaras Lorac Multiplex 3D Lashes, Revlon Grow Luscious, and Benefit They're Real.
First up is Lorac. As you can see mine is a mini tube. The brush is made of rubber bristles similar to the Cover Girl's Lash Blasts and Benefit's They're Real. It is slightly curved and fits perfectly on my lash line and up. It's great for length but volume wise I haven't noticed anything special. However, I've definitely been picking this up more than the other 2 as of lately. A normal sized tube of Lorac 3D Multiplex Lashes retails for $22 at Sephora and Ulta.
Next up is Benefit's They're Real Mascara. Yes, another mini tube. This mascara recently launched earlier this month I believe. It's claim to fame is that it gives your lashes the appearance of false lashes, hence the name. The brush is rubber bristle's similar to Lorac's Multiplex 3D Lashes with a twist of Loreal's Telescopic Explosion Mascara. You brush on the mascara like normal then use the tapered end to get all those pesky inner and outer lashes that usually get missed. I thought this sounded pretty amazing till I used it on my hard to reach lashes and ugh those ends just get stuck to each other. I think it's pretty good at lengthening and ok with volume. I liked it but like I said those pesky hairs just get all funky. Benefit They're Real! retails for $22 at Sephora and Ulta.

Finally, Revlon Grow Luscious Mascara. I've been using and loving this mascara for about two years now. It is the perfect balance of length, volume, and separation. The brush is big very similar to Benefit's Bad Gal lash, which use to be my favorite! Unforunetly my tube is getting a little dry so these pictures don't show how impressive this mascara really is! But if you look through my first few make up posts you'll see. Revlon Grow Lucious retails at Walgreens locations for $7.99, $5.99 with free shipping on the website. Walgreens typically has BOGO or BOG1/2 off.
I hope all of you found this informative!!
It's Friday!

Tron

No relation to the movies but when I looked at my finished franken I just thought Tron. I based this franken on the ever popular and HTF OPI DS Glamour. If I couldn't have it then damn it I was going to try to dupe it! I used Orly Royal Navy, a few drops of China Glaze Liquid Leather, and of course spectraflair. BTW all the teal sparkle in Royal Navy had sank to the bottom so it's not in my franken!

This is hands down my favorite franken so far. I wouldn't say it's a dupe but Tron and Glamour could be...cousins. What do you think?

Bows and nails

I went on a scavenger hunt through Ross to find Color Clubs and avoid the Betsey Johnson purses. No luck with CC and oh how it hurt me seeing all those pretty purses and couldn't take them home with me. But I did find some cute no name nail polish sets for under $3. My base is a dark grey with pink and teal sparkles and the tips are Zoya Lola.

The last picture is blurred to show the sparkles! I thought this mani looked very chic alongside my new bow ring that I purchased on eBay. Love it! Le sigh, I had a pretty crummy day but I hope everyone else had a nice one. I'm going to wash away the day, paint my nails, and go to bed!

Purple people eater!

I caved. I'm not much for spending over $10 on a bottle of nail polish. Figure, the more the merrier! But Nfu Oh 51 was teasing me, taunting me. It had to be mine. Once that bottle was in my hands I sat in front of my led lamp and just stared for a good 5 minutes drooling, lol. It's gorgeous in that wonderfully shaped bottle but on the nails it's obvious that it needs to be layered. This is three coats...

I tried to get as many angles so you can see the rainbows but being inside doesn't help. Jacksonville is hardly ever sunny anymore. I enjoy those dark rainy days but dabnabbit I want some pretty pictures!lol. I  decided I wanted to have more fun so I did some playing around with one of my frankens, Electrohead. This was meant to be a dupe of China Glaze DV8 but obviously it didn't work out!

P.S.- If you have even the smallest, itty bitty chip in your tooth avoid bleaching your teeth! Oy vey!
