Stained Glass Ming

Helloooo Bloggerettes! Today's nails are a mix of glitter gradient with an accent of stained glass. What, haha? My accent nails are meant to look like a stained glass window with roses. My pictures don't show a good representation of that but in person they were flawless!

I started off with 1 thick coat of Rejuvacote, 2 coats of Color Club Blue Ming, and 1 coat of OPI Did You 'Ear About Van Gogh? on my accent nail. Once dry I did 1 layer of Maybelline Sunlight followed by Color Club Gingerbread for my gradient. For my accent nails I used 1 coat of Cosmetic Arts Flakie polish, Orly Purple Crush for my roses, Blue Ming for my leaves, and Art Deco in black for my outlines. I love rocking roses on my manis, I think they are so fun and chic. What do you think?

For some shizz and giggles I decided to Frankenweenie-fy my boston babies, Zombri and Bronson!

Thanks for looking!

DV8 aka Uber Lemming Fulfilled!

Hey there Bloggerettes! Todays post features my all time major lemming China Glaze DV8. She is a gorgeous teal linear holo. However it's not a bam in your face holo like OPI DS Original or Gosh Holographic. When I received it Florida was going through some major storming so I have no sunny pictures but I had to wear it! I know you all understand that feeling, lol!

 No topcoat!

I don't know why this picture came out so blue but it's gorgeous! With Topcoat.

I did 1 coat of CND Stickey, 3 coats of DV8, followed by a coat of Seche Vite. Topcoat did not effect the holo of this polish. I really loved this color and the length of my nails but unfortunetly my nails broke pretty bad during the dreaded truck day at work. C'est la vie! RIP awesome nails, hello nubbins.

Stone Cold Saved

Hey there Bloggerettes! Today I bring to you a combination of China Glaze Stone Cold and OPI Save Me. Both polishes are on my top favorite polish list so it made perfect sense for them to join forces. Epic things happened, lol. I started off with 2 coats of Stone Cold followed by 2 coats of Save Me. I did a thick coat of Seche Vite to tame the hairy glitter in Save Me.

Look at all that glorious sparkle! But I wasn't entirely satisfied, so I added a coat of Essie Matte About You.

There we go, much better! What do you think of this look? I think the matte really brought out the awesome of Save Me. Such a magical glitter.

I haven't posted anything Bronson lately so here's a little update. He is now 6 months old and going through a serial teething phase. Today he chewed my very expensive glasses. :( But damn it he's so cute! Le sigh. Here's evidence of the cuteness!

Bronson!

Happy Sunday Bloggerettes! Unfortunately todays post is not nail polish or make up related but still exciting. Matthew and I have become parents to a 4 month old Boston Terrier pup officially named Bronson BamBam Turner-Connor!! We are so happy to have the new addition to our little family and just wanted to share. Miss Zombri Anna Turner and Cletus Mashed Potato Johnson Connor are still getting used to him but I know they're excited and curious.

The last two pictures are from his original owners Craigslist listing. The family was unable to keep him and we were more than happy to except him into our family. Bronson is a serious cutie and I look forward to showing him off in future posts.

I hope you enjoy the lols!<3
