Franken-Bile

Lovely name, right? I had a random thought one day, what if I combined every glitter polish I own into a franken? So I went through my 200 polish stash and gathered all the glitters. This is about 2-5 drops of each glitter I own. It's gorgeous and totally tacky which is so my style.

Color build up, starting from one to five.

I love it! It's definitely a pain in the butt to remove but the 'pretty is worth it'. However it's not as bad as doing your first water marble without the proper protection....

Call an optimist, she's turning blue.

Blue, in all variations, is perfect for a brown eyed girl such as myself. I wanted dramatic, I wanted dark, I needed blue! So I took out my trusted Sugarpill Royal Sugar and my beloved Inglot palette and got to work. This is Royal Sugar, Inglot AMC 70, D.S. 494, D.S. 493, and AMC 46 (my go to highlight).

I've been working hard on my makeup lately and kind of drifting from nails. Which makes me sad. It's easy for me to do makeup everyday but to work so hard on my nails just to wash it away with acetone so soon just seems so unnecessary. I know this blog started off as strictly nails but that's just unrealistic. How do you feel about this blog, what can make it better? I would love to get some imput!

Time Balm

My under eye circles were getting to me. Not to mention the red in my cheeks from my slight case of rosacea, thanks dad! So I finally decided a concealer was needed. I typically just wear Loreal True Match Naturale in Nude Beige as I live in Florida and don't like heavy makeup. I had been considering Benefit's Erase Paste but for a little jar I wasn't fond of spending $26. I had only heard a few reviews on The Balm's Time Balm concealer, which looks similar to Erase Paste in my opinion. For a cheap(er) $18 and Ebates at my side I was sold.

The left is with Eco Tools concealer brush, right with the included sponge.

I love this this concealer! I definitely made a great choice. It's light but covers perfectly. Red spots, under eye circles, freckles, etc are taken care of. The next few makeup posts will have me using this concealer and it's really made a difference. I no longer look tired!lol. On another note when I purchased Time Balm on Sephora I went through Ebates. Time Balm is the only item I paid for. I chose Benefits new They're Real mascara with my 100 point perks, 3 perfume samples, and a discount code on Ebates allowed me to get a free Benefit makeup case! Plus I got money back, not a lot, but all money is good money these days.

Glitter in the Cracks

Hey there bloggerettes! When I went to get a pedicure a month or so back the salon had all of the Burlesque glitters. I knew then that I must have them. When they first came out I wasn't as in to them but once they were gone of course I wanted them. So I looked everywhere online and Facebook and was able to get the three I wanted. Here is my pain in the tush to remove glitter look, three coats of OPI Bring on the Bling!

Then I went to Sally's Beauty Supply when they had their buy two China Glaze get one free Seche Vite treatment. I picked the new crackle metals in Latticed Lilac and Oxidize Aqua. I wanted Haute Metal but they were sold out. Once I came home I knew I had to try them over my mani.

I finally loaded my pictures from my camera and there was over 700 pictures! Hopefully my posting will be a bit more consistent. Also lots of nail mail has been received and I'm expecting one more package. Next paycheck I'm going to try a no buy on nail polish but I'm thinking about my next Inglot palette if I can afford it...also roller skates.lol
