Franken Miss Zombri!

So I finally took the time to work on my second franken, yeah I know I'm slow, lol. I wanted to do pink, as it is my favorite color, but my boy fraan wanted red. So I compromised! This is a mixture of Sinful Color Creme Pink, China Glaze Seduce Me, a Color Club red glitter (no idea what the name is), and a little bit of spectra flair pigment.

Sorry for the butt load of pictures but I want you to see every angle! It has the gold sparkle from Creme Pink, the red glitter from Color Club, and the holo from the pigment...this came out FANTASTIC! It's the perfect 'girlie' color with an added flair and I instantly thought Zombri.lol My little fur ball. So I name the franken Miss Zombri!

I think she's excited too! Blahaha!

Burning Rainbow

I finally used my Sugarpill Burning Heart palette to its full advantage and did my first rainbow look. This was for a rare outing by myself to a dun, dun, dun bar. Lol, not surprisingly I immediately got sick and had my boyfriend pick me up. This is why I can't do anything, haha. Anywho I also used Urban Decays 24/7 eye pencil in Electric with Sugarpills Afterparty eyeshadow to set for my waterline.

Yes, I see that I have blue eye boogers, lol. Since wearing contacts my makeup drifts to the corners of my eyes more than usual. C'est la vie! On another note I did the ugliest manicure last night, I can't stand to look at it! Ugh, well goodnight folks!

Feeling blue...

On my quest to find the Icing Deborah Lippmann dupe for Across the Universe I stumbled upon the most amazing mood polish, Mood Swing in Serene/Stormy. In the bottle it almost looked like a Rescue Beauty Lounge dupe for Scrangie. Once on though I realized that was not the case. This polish dries a matte blue with silver shimmer. Once I applied Seche Vite my heart stopped. This is one of the most beautiful blues I have ever seen! When cold it changes to a gorgeous shade of purple. This being a mood polish and my nails are getting long I had a slight french effect. But after I showered I noticed the color changing weakend. Serene/Stormy applied like buttah and I think everyone should own it! BTW I never did find my DL dupe.

My camera had a hard time picking up the purple but trust me when I say it was lovely! I am absolutely happy with my purchase. In other news my paycheck was a fail so I am on a forced no buying break. And I recently developed a little stye on my left eye but it looks like it's already going away. Luckily I already have a FOTD to post! I hope everyone has a great weekend and Father's Day!

My first (successful) Franken!

Awhile ago I had the pleasure of joining a lovely nail polish group on Facebook by the name of Polish-aholics Anonymous. I no longer feel weird for owning so many polishes and wanting to spend my hard earned paychecks on these little bottles of color. A few weeks back the big thing was SpectraFlair Flex paint powder. This pigment is typically mixed with paint for cars but it was discovered as the perfect ingredient to add to polishes to make them holo! I was able to purchase 1 gram on eBay before he decided to delete the item from his store. My first attempt, and success, a black holo flakie. Unfortunately pictures do not show the flakes but it was beautiful! Trust me. This is a mixture of Wet 'n' Wild Ebony Hates Chris, Nfu Oh #38, and SpectraFlair.

1 gram in its little baggie! This cost me $22, sheesh.

Gorgeous! Then a few days later I received some nail mail, thanks to Polish-aholics Anonymous and Karin, OPI DS Signature and OPI Bring on The Bling. 

I didn't want to remove my creation just yet so I decided what's better than holo....more holo! This is Signature sponged over my franken.

Sorry for the brief hiatus. It seems something bad is happening left and right, le sigh. But that's life! I'm just happy to have a mostly loving family and my Zombri! Now I need some help though. My franken needs a name! Who wants to help?
